Valiant Movie?  As the Valiant rumors start to fly again Holly is quick to tackle them before they get out of hand by saying:"I know there are a bunch of rumors going around and I know what's going on behind the scenes, but there's still no news fit to share. So, for right now, the answer is still no." However that leaves one very important question, what news does she have that she can not share? Move-Tie-In Books? Not too long ago new book covers were released for TITHE, VALIANT and IRONSIDE. These covers had ACTUAL people implying that they could have been a movie-tie-in. This could have caused most of the commotion for rumors, however after many complaints of characters not looking the way they should S&S took down the covers. They are supposedly working on new covers as we speak. If those were indeed movie-tie-in books, they would not only have to remake the covers they would have to re-cast the roles that the readers did not agree on. --Basically meaning, I'm 90% positive that it was not a movie-tie-in. IMDB Update! It is also fair to mention that IMDB.com has updated and added a Valiant page. This time last year the page was removed off from IMDB and Holly's name was never attached to it. Now the page has been updated for a release date of 2010, and it is now listed on Holly's IMDB page as "In Development". So there you have it--All I'm saying is someone give me a call when you guys are casting extras. Hey, a guy can have hope... Right?

Dracula Introduction - Penguin Publishing  If you look at the file name of the image above you will see it says "hellyes.jpg"--Dracula has been one of my favorite books since I read it in Sixth grade--so you would imagine how suprised I was when I was lurking Amazon and noticed a book that had the tags "DRACULA", "BRAM STOKER" & "HOLLY BLACK". My heart did a dance--but I was hesitant to click the link, expecting it to be some book seller mislabeling items. However, it's really happening! Enjoy the cover art!
